How to make crispy cashews

Do you salivate every time you see a food show on TV? But when I wanted to follow along, I found that the show had already ended. Don’t be discouraged, today I will teach you the specific steps for making crispy cashews.

1. Put cashews, salt and sugar in a small pot, add water just enough to cover the cashews and cook over low heat.

2. When the water is almost dry, the sugar becomes sticky. Keep shaking the pot to prevent it from getting stuck and to allow the sugar to be evenly coated on the cashews.

3. Pour corn starch into the cooked cashews while they are still hot and roll them

4. I found that the container was too small, so I changed the baking tray and covered it with starch.

5. After cooling thoroughly, drain excess starch with a sieve before frying

6. Put the pot on low heat and add plenty of oil. Fry slowly, always paying attention to the changes in the color of the cashews. The heat must be controlled well. If the color is a little darker, it cannot be reversed, so remove from the pan as soon as it turns slightly yellow. If it is still not crispy after cooling thoroughly, you can remedy it by baking it in the oven at low temperature for a few minutes.

7. Let it cool on oil-absorbing paper
