Pork ribs stewed pumpkin recipe

Ingredients: pork ribs, pumpkin, salt, vegetable oil, cooking wine, dark soy sauce, sugar, green onion, ginger, bay leaf, fennel, cardamom, pepper, aniseed, garlic, chicken stock

Production steps:

1. Rinse the pork ribs with clean water several times and soak them for 10 minutes; add enough water to cover the pork ribs in a pot, put in the washed ribs, boil over high heat, skim off the foam and remove the ribs;

2. Peel and remove the pumpkin, cut into small square pieces and set aside;

3. Pour a proper amount of vegetable oil into the hot pot, and when the oil temperature reaches 50% hot, add the ginger slices and fry until fragrant;

4. Pour in the ribs and stir-fry over high heat until they change color;

5. When the ribs change color and are cooked through, add dark soy sauce, cooking wine and a little sugar to enhance the flavor;

6. Add green onions and other seasoning packets, add enough broth to cover the ribs, and simmer over low heat for 40 minutes;

7. When the ribs are cooked and there is still some soup in the pot, pour the pumpkin into the pot and cook for another 10 minutes;

8. Add salt and chicken essence and cook over high heat until the sauce thickens.

Pork ribs stewed with pumpkin

Ingredients: 400g pumpkin, 300g spare ribs, some bean paste, some light soy sauce, some oyster sauce, some cooking wine, some chicken essence, some oil

Production steps:

1. Cut pumpkin into pieces and cut green onion and ginger into shreds;

2. Stir-fry green onion and ginger in a wok;

3. Add pumpkin and stir-fry until it changes color;

4. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, cooking wine, and a tablespoon of spicy bean sauce, and continue to stir-fry;

5. Add a large bowl of hot water and simmer for 10 minutes;

6. Add the ribs that have been pressed in the pressure cooker and simmer for 5 minutes. Add chicken stock and serve.

Tips for making it: Press the ribs in a pressure cooker beforehand to save a lot of time.
