Recipes for children with impaired vision

Amblyopia is a common eye problem in clinical practice. Generally speaking, teenagers or children are common patients with amblyopia. Amblyopia can cause great harm to the eyes. If it is not corrected, it will affect people's future life and work. In addition to conventional treatment for amblyopia, you should also pay attention to dietary adjustments. There are many different recipes for amblyopic children in life, so you can try more.

1. 500 grams of black beans, 500 grams of walnut kernels, 1 cup of milk, 1 spoon of honey. Preparation method: After the black bean paste is cooked, let it cool and grind it into powder. Fry the walnut kernels until slightly charred, peel them, and mash them into a paste after they cool. Take 1 spoon of each of the above two foods, pour into 1 cup of boiled milk, add 1 spoon of honey, which can improve the regulatory function of eye muscles.

2. 10 grams of wolfberry, 10 grams of mulberry, 20 grams of yam, and 10 red dates. Preparation method: Decoction the above four ingredients in water and drink it twice, with an interval of 3-4 hours in between. Long-term use by children with amblyopia can eliminate symptoms of eyestrain.

3. Most myopic patients have low blood calcium and vitamin A deficiency; low serum protein, blood calcium and hemoglobin are also low. After suffering from myopia, you should supplement more vitamins A, B, and vitamins and trace elements such as calcium, chromium, and zinc, and eat less candy and high-sugar foods. Diet therapy mainly supplements the nutrients necessary for the ciliary muscle and sclera in the eye, enhances the strength of the ciliary muscle, and helps it restore its inherent functions. You should supplement more vitamins A, B1, B2, C, and E. Foods rich in vitamins include eggs, milk, meat, fish, liver, and fresh vegetables and fruits.

4. Amblyopia treatment is generally before the age of 12, and the best time is before the age of 7. It is best to take your child to a regular hospital for examination, eyesight test, and to see if corrective glasses are needed. Don't miss the best treatment time. In addition, parents should pay attention to guiding their children to eat more coarse grains (such as cornmeal, millet, etc.) to increase the necessary vitamin supply, eat more fresh fruits and vegetables, appropriately increase protein intake, limit excessive sugar intake to promote the development of the retina and optic nerve, and supplement some vitamins (such as vitamin B1, vitamin B12, vitamin C, cod liver oil, etc.) and minerals (such as zinc, iron, calcium, etc.) according to the child's nutritional status when necessary.
