Red Velvet Pound Cake Recipe

1. Eggs, butter, white sugar, and low flour in a ratio of 1:1:1:1. 80g of each is used here, 5g of red yeast rice powder, and a little salt.

2. Soften the butter at room temperature or melt it in hot water until it does not completely turn into liquid. Beat the eggs.

3. Add white sugar to the butter.

4. Beat with an electric whisk at low speed until slightly blended and the butter becomes lighter in color, then add a pinch of salt.

5. Continue beating with a whisk at high speed until the butter is completely blended with the sugar and salt and turns white in color.

6. Add the egg liquid in several batches. The picture shows the first time joining.

7. Continue beating until the egg liquid and butter are completely blended.

8. Add the egg liquid for the second time. Keep sending.

9. Add in four times in total. Each time, you have to wait until the egg liquid and butter are completely blended before adding the next egg liquid. The completely beaten butter and egg liquid should be in a thick state.

10. Sift in the low flour and red yeast rice powder.

11. If the egg and butter liquid is beaten correctly, the powder will float on the surface after being sifted. Preheat oven to 180°.

12. Use a spatula to stir evenly until there are no particles.

13. Pour into the mold immediately.

14. Vibrate it vigorously in the air for a few times to remove large bubbles.

15. Place it in the lower middle layer of the oven and bake at 180° for about 20-30 minutes. The specific time will depend on your oven and the amount you make. The cake is baked if no crumbs come out when a toothpick is inserted into the cake.

16. Immediately remove the baked cake and shake it vigorously a few times to remove the heat. Immediately turn it upside down and remove it from the mold after it cools down.

17. The pound cake that has been removed from the mold is a beautiful red color. It looks like the texture is rough and the pores are large.

18. Take the prepared pattern and place it on the cake.

19. Sprinkle with powdered sugar by sifting.

20. Decorated cake.
