Buckwheat Wowotou recipe

Buckwheat steamed buns are a dish that takes a short time to prepare, and are suitable for busy people who can enjoy the delicious taste at home. Even if time is tight, there is no need to wait for the buckwheat steamed buns. They can be served in 20 minutes and served with a bowl of clear soup. It is the perfect match with rice and the first choice for eating with rice.

1. Prepare ingredients: Soak buckwheat kernels and red dates for one hour in advance.

2. Mix the flour, corn flour, milk powder, sugar and yeast powder and stir well with chopsticks.

4. Put the buckwheat kernels in a food processor, add 2 cm of cold water that has covered the buckwheat, and beat into a paste.

5. Pour the buckwheat pulp into the flour mixture

7. Ferment until it doubles in size and does not shrink when pressed with your thumb.

8. Knead into a smooth dough. (If it is too dry, add a small amount of warm water) Cover with wet gauze and place in a warm place to ferment for 2 hours.

9. Take a small piece and roll it into a round shape

10. Press with your thumb to make the middle concave.

11. Place the steamed buns facing down on a plate, remove the core of the red dates, cut them in half, and then place the red dates in the middle of the steamed buns.

12. As shown in the picture, everything is done. Cover with a wet cloth and let it rest for 20 minutes.

13. Steam on high heat for 15 minutes and simmer for 5 minutes.

14. Serve. The one in the middle is made into a small round bowl. After it is steamed, you can put your favorite dishes in it and eat it directly. The taste is awesome!
