How to make fried dumplings (carrot, celery and pork filling)

Enjoying delicious food is a part of our life. We should not eat out casually in normal times. If conditions permit, it is better to cook at home. After all, this can ensure hygiene and is good for health. Fried dumplings (carrot, celery and pork filling) are simple to make, and it is also a dish that many nutrition experts favor.

1. Ask the store to help you chop the pork you bought, put it in a bowl, add a spoonful of light soy sauce, a spoonful of dark soy sauce, appropriate amount of salt, and a spoonful of five-spice powder and mix well.

2. Cover tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 15 minutes to allow the flavor to absorb.

3. Remove the roots of the celery, remove the old leaves and wash. Pick and wash the carrots, onions, ginger and garlic.

4. Chop the green onion into flowers, mince the ginger and garlic, and put them into a bowl for later use.

5. Grate the carrots and put them into a bowl, sprinkle some salt and marinate for a while.

6. Marinate the carrots with salt until soft, hold them tightly with both hands to squeeze out the water, and chop them. Chop the celery.

7. When the meat filling has been refrigerated and has absorbed the flavor, take it out. First pour the chopped green onion, ginger and garlic prepared in the bowl into the minced meat and mix well.

8. Use chopsticks to stir in one direction for 3 minutes.

9. Add the chopped carrots and celery, two spoons of cooking oil (about 15 grams, so that the dumplings will taste more fragrant and smoother), an appropriate amount of salt, and some dark soy sauce. Then use chopsticks to stir in one direction until it is evenly stirred.

10. Stir for five to ten minutes to make the filling. (The dumplings made with the fully stirred filling will taste chewy and refreshing)

11. The dumpling wrappers are bought in square shapes.

12. Use a small spoon to scoop an appropriate amount of stuffing and put it into one end of the dumpling skin. Gently roll it up. It will look a bit like a spring roll. Then hold the two ends and press them tightly. As shown in the picture.

13. Heat a frying pan and pour in a little cooking oil. Turn to low heat and put the dumplings in one by one, arranging them evenly and not too crowded.

14. Fry over low heat for three minutes until the bottom of the dumplings turn yellow. Pick up the dumplings with chopsticks and fry the other side (I pick up the other side one by one with chopsticks. If it's too troublesome, just shake the pan gently. Be careful not to let the bottom of the dumplings get burnt.)

15. Pour in enough water to cover the dumplings, cover the pot and simmer over medium heat for a while.

16. When you hear a sizzling sound coming from the pot, it means the water in the pot has been boiled away. You can now open the lid, pick up the pot and shake it a few times, and the crispy and delicious fried dumplings are ready.

17. The finished product, with some celery leaves sprinkled on it for decoration.
