Golden Cakes for the Lantern Festival (January 15th of the Lunar New Year)

   Prepare ingredients

   Wash and break the corn kernels, peel and chop the carrot.

   Pour the mixture into a container, add flour and sugar, and mix well.

   Add a little water or milk.

   Heat oil in a frying pan, then use a ladle to scoop a spoonful of cornmeal mixture into the pan (one spoonful at a time). Repeat until all the cornmeal mixture is used.

   Fry until golden brown on both sides.

   Remove from heat and plate; a delicious breakfast is ready.
