6. Do not put oil in the frying pan, turn to low heat, put the chicken legs with the skin side down, fry to release the oil, fry until golden brown, then turn over and fry until both sides are golden brown.

7. Add a little oil in a wok, add onion, ginger, star anise and peppercorns and stir-fry until fragrant.

8. Add chicken legs, 1 spoon of light soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of dark soy sauce, 1 spoon of cooking wine, 2 spoons of sugar, and a little salt. Pour in boiling water, bring to a boil over high heat, skim off the foam, cover, and cook over medium heat for about 20 minutes. When the meat is cooked, pick out the chicken legs and place them on a plate. One with the flesh side up and one with the skin side up. Remove the onion, ginger, star anise and peppercorns from the remaining soup in the pot, turn to high heat, pour in a little water starch in two batches to thicken, and pour it on the chicken legs.

9. Add cooked corn kernels, green beans, onion pieces and black cherries, and garnish with red cherries.
