How to make homemade jelly

1. Thaw the pork skin, blanch it in cold water, and cook out the oil and impurities

2. After cooling, be sure to clean the fat and remaining hair to avoid affecting the taste

3. Cut into 5mm wide strips as shown in the picture

4. Put cold water and cut pork skin in the pot, the water should be about 2 times higher than the pork skin

5. Skim off the foam after boiling

6. Turn to low heat, cover and simmer. Boil, boil, boil, boil~~

7. Keep boiling until the water and the skin are almost level, add dark soy sauce to adjust the color. If you like crystal jelly, you can leave it out. I usually don’t like to add seasoning when boiling jelly to keep it pure. The taste depends on the seasoning when eating.

8. After cooling, it will solidify into jelly. Use a toothpick to cut a circle along the edge and peel off the jelly completely. Eat, cut and adjust as you like, everything is up to you~
