How to make sweet and sour tofu

1. Cut the pineapple into slightly thicker slices, soak them in light salt water for a while, remove them and drain them for later use;

2. Cut the old tofu into mahjong-sized pieces and evenly coat them with a layer of dry starch (not included in the amount);

3. Heat oil in a pan, add tofu cubes, and fry over medium heat until all sides of the tofu are golden brown and crispy.

4. Take out the fried tofu and absorb the excess fat;

5. Stir ketchup, salt, sugar, starch and water into a sauce for later use;

6. Slice the green pepper, mince the ginger and garlic, and set aside;

7. Heat another pot and add a little cooking oil, or leave some oil in the original pot, and sauté the minced ginger and garlic over low heat;

8. Add the sauce and continue to simmer, stirring until it becomes thick;

9. Add green pepper and pineapple and stir-fry evenly;

10. Add the fried tofu and stir-fry until the sauce is evenly coated on the ingredients.
