What foods make the body alkaline?

Different people have different physiques, and acidic physique and alkaline physique are two of the more common physiques. Generally speaking, people believe that an alkaline constitution is a better and healthier constitution. And physical constitution can be changed through diet. If you want an alkaline constitution, you can eat more alkaline foods. Next, I will introduce to you what alkaline foods are.

1. Vegetables

(1) Foods with a cold and alkaline nature include: water shield, purslane, Houttuynia cordata, water spinach, tomato, chayote, zucchini, melon, gourd, cantaloupe, Hami melon, watermelon, cucumber, bamboo shoots, and kelp.

(2) Alkaline foods that are cool in nature include: lotus root, konjac, water chestnut, kudzu, beet, radish, kohlrabi, celery, amaranth, eggplant, lettuce, wild rice stem, bitter melon, rapeseed, spinach, mushroom, lettuce, cauliflower, enoki mushroom, winter melon, cucumber, and loofah.

(3) Alkaline foods that are neutral in nature (a type of foods that are in the negative series that are more positive than negative) include: lily, carrot, kohlrabi, chrysanthemum, schizonepeta, cabbage, kale, hericium, black fungus, shepherd's purse, white fungus, sweet potato, potato, and taro.

(4) Alkaline foods that are warm in nature include: chamagu, yam, onion, scallion (wild garlic), toon, leek, Chinese mustard, coriander, bell pepper, pumpkin, ginger, and onion.

(2) Alkaline foods that are cool in nature include: pears, loquats, oranges, tangerines, mangoes, monk fruit, and apples.

(3) Alkaline foods that are neutral in nature (a type of food that is in the negative series that is more balanced between yin and yang) include: grapes, hawthorn, pomegranate, papaya, longan, betel nut, orange, lychee, and lemon.

(4) Alkaline foods that are hot in nature include peaches and cherries.

4. Nuts
