What are the common methods of stir-frying lentils?

Lentils are a very common vegetable. They have high nutritional value and can supplement vitamins and trace elements. They are also rich in protein. There are many ways to eat lentils, generally making lentil shreds or stir-frying lentils with meat. You can add a few chili peppers, which can enhance the flavor and make the lentils taste better. Sprinkle a small amount of minced ginger and chicken essence before serving, and the lentils will taste richer.

Spicy Stir-fried Lentil Shreds

Material

Lentils cut into strips, 5 dried chilies (adjustable according to your taste), shredded ginger, garlic cloves, soy sauce, salt, chicken stock

1. Put oil in the pot, add shredded ginger and garlic cloves, and add dried chili peppers after the aroma comes out.

2. Pour in the shredded lentils and stir-fry (use a higher heat).

3. After the lentil shreds have changed color, add appropriate amount of light soy sauce and salt and continue stir-frying. The heat can be adjusted to a slightly lower level.

4. Sprinkle some minced garlic and chicken essence before serving.

Tips

1. Lentils must be fried thoroughly when cooking, otherwise they will cause poisoning, remember!

2. In order to make it easier to fry the lentils, be sure to cut them into thin strips.

3. I like to use light soy sauce for coloring, a light color. I personally think dark soy sauce is more suitable for stewing dishes.

4. I seldom use chicken essence or MSG when cooking, but sometimes I add a little bit when making soup or certain dishes.

2: Cut the fat and lean meat into cubes, chop the green onions, and cut the ginger into shreds

4: Add chopped green onion and shredded ginger, stir-fry until fragrant, then add lentils and stir-fry

5: When the frying is almost done, add MSG and salt to season.

400g lentils, dried chili peppers, half a red pepper, soy sauce, salt, MSG, green onions, ginger

1. Wash and cut lentils into strips, cut dried chili and red pepper into strips, and chop green onion and ginger

2. Heat the oil in a wok, add chopped green onion, ginger and dried chili shreds and stir-fry until fragrant, then add the lentil shreds and stir-fry

3. Fry the lentil shreds over high heat until cooked, then add the red pepper shreds and stir-fry slightly, finally add MSG to season and serve.
