How to make milk steamed buns

There are many ways to eat, but you must eat some healthy food. To be healthy, you need to cook it yourself. The milk steamed bun introduced below is very suitable for making.

1. Heat 1/3 of the milk in a microwave oven until it is about the same temperature as your hand.

2.12 Dissolve the yeast in it and leave it for about 5 minutes until small bubbles appear on the surface of the liquid.

3.21 Mix flour, sugar and baking powder evenly

4.1 After that, add the remaining milk in the same way and stir.

5.2 Slowly add the yeast solution into the flour, stirring with chopsticks

6. Knead the dough until the dough and the bowl and hands are shiny;

7. Cover with plastic wrap and place in a warm place to ferment until the dough doubles in size (I placed it next to the radiator and fermented it for about an hour)

8. After taking out the fermented dough, knead it for about 5 minutes until the gas in the dough is basically discharged.

9. Divide the dough into two parts, roll each into long strips, and cut into rectangular buns with a knife (I used the other part to pinch 3 pieces and roll them into round shapes, haha)

10. Place baking paper or a pure white cotton wet cloth in the steamer, put the shaped buns into the steamer (note that there should be some space between the buns, as they will expand when steamed), cover the steamer and continue to rise for 20 minutes.

11. Pour cold water into the pot, place the steamer on the stove, and turn on high heat. When the water starts to boil, switch to medium heat and steam for 8-10 minutes. Turn off the heat and simmer for 5 minutes before taking out.
