Red wine braised chicken wings

Ingredients: Red wine, two bottles of sweet red wine are recommended. 500 grams of chicken wings, cooking oil, salt, sugar, soy sauce, chicken essence, chili, vinegar, onion, ginger, and garlic. Instructions: 1. Cut the onion, ginger, and garlic into sections and set aside. 2. Wash the chicken wings and blanch them in water until there is no blood foam. Drain the water and set aside. 3. When the oil is one-third hot, add one and a half spoons of sugar, melt the sugar over low heat, and add the chicken wings after the sugar dissolves into golden red syrup, so that each chicken wing is evenly coated with sugar color. Add a few drops of soy sauce (not too much soy sauce, otherwise it will turn into black). 4. Turn to high heat and add chili peppers. The chili peppers can be chili powder, dried chili peppers or chili sauce. It depends on your personal preference. After frying until fragrant, add vinegar, about half a bowl of vinegar. Then stir-fry until the vinegar is reduced. Remove the chicken wings and set aside. 5. Add oil again, add onion, ginger and garlic, sauté until fragrant, then add chicken wings and stir-fry. 6. Pour the red wine until the chicken wings are covered. Simmer over high heat until the pot is half open. Add appropriate amount of salt and chicken stock. Turn to medium heat. Simmer for 20 minutes. Remove from the heat and place on a plate. Sprinkle with chopped green onions.

(If you like spicy food, you can add hot sauce. I added Haitian’s bibimbap sauce. The finished product is not spicy, but the flavor is richer.) 5. Cut carrots and potatoes into thicker slices. (Cut thicker so it won't break easily after stewing) 6. Slice the green pepper 7. Add carrots and potatoes and stew over low heat until soft 8. Add green pepper and adjust salt to taste 9. Heat high heat until the sauce is cooked
