After the brown sugar water melts, turn to low heat, pour half a bowl of raw pulp into the brown sugar water, stir while pouring until it becomes a transparent paste, then turn off the heat. This is the cooked pulp. 4. After the cooked paste is ready, let it dry for about 10 minutes, then pour all the cooked paste into the raw paste and mix evenly. 5. Pour the coconut milk into another bowl, then fill a bowl with raw and cooked pulp and mix them together. 6. Put water in a pot and bring it to a boil. Brush a thin layer of oil on the basin for steaming the cake and place the basin in it. Then pour a layer of water chestnut powder paste until it covers the bottom of the basin. The thickness depends on personal preference. Steam the thin ones for about 2 minutes per layer. When the powder becomes transparent and solid, you can spread the second layer of coconut milk. And so on. The top layer should preferably be water chestnut powder, which will make it look better. 7. After it’s done, take it out and let it cool. It tastes better if you put it in the refrigerator. Make sure it's cool before cutting, otherwise it will become soft and stick to the knife, and it won't look good when you cut it. Tips and reminder: Do not steam each layer for too long. If you continue to steam it after it is cooked, a lot of water will accumulate on the surface, making it difficult to make the next layer. Method 2Ingredients: Coconut milk (half a can), water chestnut powder and brown sugar water. Method: 1. Use two and a half bowls of water to boil the powder (set aside). Use a large bowl to fill with coconut milk (set aside). 2. Use two and a half bowls of water to add and a half strips of brown sugar to dissolve. After dissolving, turn off the heat and pour in two and a half bowls of boiled powder with two and a half bowls of water and stir quickly until dissolved.
