Cumin Spiced Beef Jerky

1.1 After cooking, take out and cut into long strips or cubes along the grain that are slightly thicker than a coin.

2.2 Add a large piece of beef to cold water and bring to a boil, then pour in a little cooking wine, skim off the foam, and poke it a few times with chopsticks until no blood comes out. It's done. It takes about 30 minutes.

3. Sauce preparation: 6 tablespoons soy sauce, 4 tablespoons sugar, 3 tablespoons water, 1 tablespoon chili powder, 1.5 tablespoons five-spice powder, 3 slices of ginger, 4 star anise, and 3 tablespoons cumin powder. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low heat and do not turn off the heat. Add the chopped beef cubes into the pot and coat them evenly with the sauce, making sure every piece is covered with the sauce. Stir repeatedly to absorb the sauce, and finally turn to high heat to reduce the sauce. (The spoon is a normal sized tablespoon)

4. Prepare a baking tray and line it with tin foil of the same size. Preheat oven to 350F. Evenly stack the beef jerky to be tested. Place in the middle of the oven.

5. Time allocation: You need to turn the paper over, and each side will take 10 minutes, for a total of 20 minutes.
