How to make quinoa cake

Perhaps, the dishes in these restaurants taste a lot of "flavor", but most of it is due to the seasoning. You can do better at home if you want. So, now let me introduce to you the method of making quinoa cake.

1. Take 70g quinoa and wash it clean

2.1 Take another pot, put sugar and 540g water, and boil

3.2 Cook in boiling water for 15 minutes, remove and set aside

4. Pour in the cooked quinoa grains to make quinoa syrup and keep it slightly boiling

5. Put the water chestnut powder in a large bowl, pour in the remaining 150g of water, and soak it for 10 minutes. This is the raw powder slurry. Quickly pour the boiled quinoa syrup in step 4 into the raw flour paste, stirring while pouring, the paste will partially solidify

6. Place the semi-solidified batter in a silicone mold, steam it over high heat for 20 minutes, take it out and let it cool before demoulding. You can fry it slightly or mix it with cooked quinoa grains to eat. Both are delicious.
