Traditional Chinese medicine diet therapy for heart disease

1. Duck Meat and Angelica Soup

Ingredients: 5 slices of yam, 5 red dates, 2 teaspoons of wolfberry, 3 slices of Chuanxiong, 1 root of angelica, 300 grams of duck legs

Seasoning: white pepper, salt, chicken powder, 1 tablespoon cooking wine

practice:

1. Wash the duck legs, cut them into pieces, add some oil to the pan, put in the duck meat and stir-fry until fragrant, add cooking wine and water, cook for minutes, and remove the oil foam;

2. Pour in all other ingredients, cook over low heat for 20 minutes, then add seasoning and cook for another 2 minutes until the flavors are absorbed.

Efficacy: Duck fat is similar to olive oil and will not increase the amount of cholesterol in the human body. Eating duck meat regularly can prevent the risk of heart disease.

2. Onion, Angelica and Pork Heart Casserole

Ingredients: 30g onion, 10 pig hearts, 15g angelica slices, 3g ginseng

Seasoning: MSG, salt

practice:

1. Wash the pig heart and onion, cut the onion into pieces, split the pig heart, stew the ginseng and angelica slices in water until soft, then slice the ginseng;

2. Stuff the stewed ginseng and angelica into the pig's heart, put it into the pot, pour in water, onion and salt, stew over low heat until the pig's heart is cooked;

3. After stewing, remove the angelica from the pig heart, add MSG, drink the soup and eat the pig heart, ginseng and onion.

Efficacy: Onion is rich in vitamins, minerals and trace elements. Its essential oil contains sulfur-containing compounds that can lower cholesterol and activate the activity of fibrinolytic protein. The sulfur amino acids and other substances in onions have the effect of lowering blood lipids, dilating blood vessels, and reducing the resistance of peripheral blood vessels and coronary arteries. It has an auxiliary effect on lowering blood pressure, lowering blood lipids and preventing coronary heart disease.

3. Hawthorn, longan and lean meat soup

Ingredients: 2 slices of ginger, 2 candied dates, 250 grams of lean meat, 15 grams each of longan meat and hawthorn

Seasoning: Salt

1. Wash ginger, candied dates, hawthorn and lean meat, and cut the lean meat into pieces;

2. Add water to the soup pot, boil it over high heat first, add all the ingredients, then simmer over low heat. After simmering for 2 hours, add salt to taste.

Efficacy: Eating hawthorn regularly can keep blood flowing, reduce the probability of blood vessel blockage, and effectively prevent the occurrence of heart disease. Heart disease patients can often drink this therapeutic soup, but do not eat too much hawthorn at one time to avoid excessive stomach acid.
