Braised Golden Pomfret Recipe Steps

Prepare the ingredients: Make diagonal cuts on the pomfret and rub it with a little salt, ginger, and garlic cloves.

After marinating the pomfret for ten minutes, coat the surface with cornstarch.

Heat oil in a wok, add ginger and garlic and sauté until fragrant. Remove the ginger and garlic and set aside, leaving the oil in the wok.

Add the pomfret and pan-fry over high heat until both sides are slightly golden brown.

Return ginger and garlic to the pan, add Shaoxing wine to sauté, then add light soy sauce and oyster sauce to stir-fry until fragrant. Pour in an appropriate amount of hot water and simmer over low heat for 5 minutes.
