Steps for making braised beef with tomatoes

Prepare 1 kg of beef ribs

Soak in salt water for two hours to remove blood.

Blanch the fish in cold water with a little cooking wine.

Prepare a chopped onion and a tomato cut in half.

Prepare one carrot, two small potatoes, and five or six mushrooms.

Wash the blanched beef ribs with warm water.

First, sauté the onions until fragrant.

Prepare a 1:1:1 ratio of light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, and oyster sauce.

Prepare a piece of cinnamon bark, four to five bay leaves, five star anise, and twenty to thirty peppercorns.

Sauté the onions until fragrant, then add the beef short ribs and sauté until golden brown. Add a suitable amount of cooking wine, the prepared light soy sauce and cinnamon, and then add water to cover the beef.

After boiling, pour the mixture into a clay pot, then add the tomatoes to the clay pot.
