Steps for making braised lion's head meatballs

Pork is minced using a meat grinder

Add chopped green onions + (I don't like ginger, so you can add minced ginger instead)

+1 tablespoon of cooking wine to remove fishy smell +1 tablespoon of light soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce + half a tablespoon thirteen-spice powder

+ Salt to taste + 1 spoonful of chicken bouillon powder

+1 egg +2 tablespoons of cornstarch

Mix well

Wearing gloves, roll into round shapes

I made 11 in total.

Air fry at 185 degrees Celsius for 25 minutes (flipping during cooking) to remove water.

Fried

Heat oil in a dry pan, then add chopped scallions and garlic and sauté until fragrant.

Add an appropriate amount of water

+2 tablespoons light soy sauce + 1 tablespoon oyster sauce + 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce (for color)

Add the fried meatballs

Cook for about 15 minutes

Add cornstarch to thicken the sauce

Simmer for a while longer (over low heat).

Add some chopped green onions for color after cooking (the sauce is very important).
