Steps for making braised beef ribs

Cut the beef ribs into small pieces. Put the beef ribs in a pot of cold water, add cooking wine and three slices of ginger. Once the water boils, remove the beef ribs and set aside.

Pour oil into a pot, add rock sugar, and melt it over low heat.

Heat over low heat and stir until bubbles form.

Add the beef ribs and stir-fry evenly. Add two tablespoons of soy sauce and stir-fry evenly again. Add boiling water.

Place the beef ribs in a pressure cooker, add four slices of ginger, two star anise, two dried chilies, and a spoonful of fermented bean paste. Cook on low heat for 15 minutes after the pressure cooker reaches pressure.

Add a spoonful of chicken bouillon powder and garlic leaves, then stir well.
