Braised Chicken Feet Recipe

Chicken feet is one of people's favorite foods, and there are many ways to cook chicken feet, such as roasted chicken feet, braised chicken feet, pickled pepper chicken feet and so on. The method of making braised chicken feet is not very complicated, and we can make it ourselves at home in a clean and hygienic way.

First of all, the marinated food must maintain a beautiful appearance and ensure that the marinade thoroughly penetrates into the food. The trick is to never cover the pot during the cooking process and keep the lid open from beginning to end. It takes about 20-30 minutes to braise food. First, boil the braising soup and then add the ingredients. After boiling, reduce the heat and braise slowly. Turn off the heat when the time is up. At this time, you can cover the pot and let the food stay in the braising soup until the soup cools down a little before taking it out. This way, the braised food will be flavorful, tender, and perfect in appearance. How to make braised chicken feet

1. Wash the chicken feet and cut off the nails and the yellow skin at the bottom.

2. Rinse the processed chicken feet with running water, and then soak them in clean water for 1 hour.

3. Take out the soaked chicken feet and drain the water.

4. Prepare other ingredients, wash the onion and ginger, and crush the old ginger. Drain the green onions, remove the roots and cut into 3 sections for later use.

5. Take a wok, pour in a proper amount of oil, heat to 180 degrees, add the scallion segments, fry until golden brown, then remove and drain the oil.

6. Put all the ingredients into a cotton bag and tie it tightly to make a marinade bag.

7. Put the marinade bag and seasonings into a large soup pot, bring to a boil over high heat, then cover the pot. Turn to medium-low heat and continue cooking for 30 minutes until the aroma of Chinese medicine is released. This is the marinade (the portion is 2 pounds).

8. Add the chicken feet and continue cooking for 5 minutes without covering and then turn off the heat.

9. Leave the chicken feet in the pot without covering it. Soak for 1 hour, remove them, place them on a cooling net and let them cool for 2-3 hours and drain the marinade.

10. Apply sesame oil evenly.

Note: The first marinade for this dish can be reused twice and then used as the second marinade. If it is used once to marinate ingredients such as tofu, it should be discarded. Before reusing the first or second marinade, be sure to remove the floating oil on the surface to prevent the marinade from producing a fishy smell. This can also prevent the marinated ingredients from spoiling and extend their shelf life.
