Steps for making Mapo Tofu (home-style dish)

First, cut the tofu into small pieces.

Prepare chopped scallions, ginger, and garlic.

Prepare persimmons

Add water and a little salt and bring to a boil.

Prepare minced meat

After the water boils, set aside the tofu and water for later use.

Pour a little oil into a pan and stir-fry the minced meat over low heat. Add 1 spoonful of chili bean paste and fermented soybeans, stir-fry until the oil turns red, then add ginger and garlic and stir-fry until combined. Finally, add hot water.

Add tofu and 1 tablespoon of chili bean paste and cook over high heat for 5 minutes.

Finally, add cornstarch and chopped green onions and simmer over low heat until the sauce thickens.
